Volunteer for the Summer Food Service Program: Austin

Do you know that far less than 20% of the children that are eligible for free and reduced lunches in Texas continue to receive food when school is out? Are you or your congregation able to help provide volunteers in your local community?  Or are you a summer feeding site that is in need of volunteers?  As the summer rolls around, Texas Impact will be posting opportunities for people to volunteer with the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). This opportunity will allow volunteers to see what the program is all about while making a difference.
